Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 26, 2026
This policy describes what information is handled when you visit neurotray.com, how the operator uses it and what choices you have. The operator is the person or organisation that runs the publication. Throughout this policy, “we” and “us” mean the operator.
Visit logs
Each time a page is requested, the servers delivering it note a handful of routine technical details. A log entry may include your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the type of browser and device, and the address of the page that sent you here. We use this information to keep the site working, to find faults, to guard against abuse and to see in general terms which articles are being read.
Cookies and similar technology
The site may use cookies and comparable storage in your browser. A few are essential for the pages to appear correctly. Others, where enabled, help count audiences, remember settings, support advertising or record which link led you to a retailer so that affiliate referrals can be attributed. Each outside party that sets cookies handles them according to its own policies.
Controlling cookies and tracking
Your browser lets you block or delete cookies, browse privately or add tools that restrict tracking. Should your browser transmit a do-not-track or global privacy signal, we will honour it as an opt-out request to the extent our tools can recognise it. Turning off some cookies may change how parts of the site work.
Email and forms
If you write to [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you decide to include. We use it to read and answer your message, to correct articles and to keep a record of the exchange. Your messages are never sold, and none will be published unless you have agreed to it beforehand.
Because this site discusses mental health, we ask that you avoid sending sensitive personal details about your health. We are not able to provide individual advice and do not need that information to answer a general question.
Newsletters
If a newsletter or sign-up form is offered, the details you enter are used only for that purpose, such as sending the updates you requested. Every message explains how to opt out, and you can also email us to be taken off the list.
Outside service providers
Running a website depends on help from other companies. These may include hosting and content delivery services, analytics tools, advertising and affiliate networks, and embedded material such as videos. They may receive technical data about your visit so their services can function. Their own terms and privacy notices apply to them, and we suggest reading those.
Retention
Visit logs are held for a limited time, after which they are erased or turned into anonymous totals. We keep emails only while they remain useful for replying to you, fixing an article or satisfying a legal duty, then delete them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may be entitled to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to certain uses, to restrict processing and to withdraw consent you previously gave. To make a request, email [email protected] and explain what you would like us to do. Before acting, we might have to verify who you are, and our reply will arrive within the legally required timeframe.
Children
Neurotray is written for a general audience and is not aimed at children under 13. We never knowingly gather personal details from children. If you believe a child has sent us details, please let us know and we will delete them.
Security
Reasonable safeguards are in place to protect your information, including encrypted connections and restricted access to the email inbox. No method of storing or sending data online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
International transfers
Providers we use may handle data in other countries, where laws may differ from those where you live. By using the site, you accept that your information may be transferred and processed in this way.
Updates to this policy
We may revise the wording of this policy any time the site changes or the law that applies to us is updated. The effective date at the top marks when the present version took effect. If you keep using the site after a revision, that means you agree to the new wording.
